e-Governance is use of Information Technology to deliver public services in a much more convenient, citizen friendly and cost effective way.

Most countries in the world are struggling to provide Accountable, Responsive and Transparent government. An easy way to translate this into reality is through e-Government. The main features of e-Government are:

• Restructure government and citizen interfaces with objectives of better governance.
• Public administration including Revenue collection through IT enabled tool.
• Revenue generation and revenue saving.
• Attracting investments

This could be achieved at any level of government. For e-Governance to be more effective it should be done at all the levels and there should be seem less and coherent interaction between all the systems.
